Performing maintenance 

 

6.  Place the new filter element with the strap 

into the FCU. 
Press the filter element down into the filter 

mount. 
Do not use excessive force or a hammer, 

etc. 

 

7.  Check the screw plug O-ring for damage. 

Replace it if necessary. 

 

8.  Insert and manually screw in the screw 

plug clockwise. 
Tighten the screw plug with a size 19 ring 

spanner. 

 

9.  The filter element change is now 

complete. 

 

 

Back-flushing FCU 

If the sensor is blocked in the FCU, use the flushing set available as an 

accessory for back-flushing. The part no. can be found in the accessories list. 
Further details on back-flushing are provided in the back-flushing 

instructions.
