Automatic Wake Up
-
Auto wake up is a standard feature in the GDS 600 Lodging
Package. Guest room telephones can follow simple voice prompts and set the wake up
call themselves, or it can be set by the hotel operator from their telephone or through the
web browser. The system also can generate a wake up call report for each room and will
notify the front desk console of unsuccessful wake up attempts. The message light will
flash on the operator console and when pressed the room number and wake up time will
appear along with a wake up failure message. The system will attempt the wake up call
every 2 minutes for 4 consecutive times before notifying the operator console.
