Automated Attendant Single Digit Dialing
Program 05-11-08
Disa Single Digit Dialing
Disa single digit dialing allows callers to access individual stations or groups of stations
(i.e. hunt groups) by dialing a single digit at the main automated attendant greeting.
The value you place in program 05-11-08 serves as a pointer to Program 10 Single Digit
Dialing. You will assign one of 8 single digit dialing groups in program 05-11-08. Then in
program 10 you will define where the single digits will terminate when they are dialed.
Example: In the program below we have set DISA single digit dialing to go to group 2 in
program 10.
Click System Program 05-11-08 to enable DISA single digit dialing.
Enter 2 from the pull down menu which will serve as a pointer to single digit dial
group 2 in program 10.
In program 10 Single Digit Dialing if the caller presses 2 the call will ring members in
hunt group 887. If they press 3 it will ring members in 890 and dialed digit 4 will ring
members in 891.
Click System, Program 10 Single Digit Dialing.
Enter 887, 890, 891 for dialed digits 2, 3 and 4 respectively as shown above.
NOTE:
Disa single digit dialing cannot conflict with the leading digit of a valid station
number unless 05-03-06 Inter Digit Delay is enabled.
