4.7 Operator Presence System
Description This machine features a seat with an integrated “operator presence” system which
works in conjunction with a throttle-mounted switch. The system allows the engine
to remain running (idling) with no operator in the seat, as long as the foot pedal
throttle control is not depressed.
The operator presence system meets safety requirements published by
organizations such as OSHA, ANSI, and ISO. The system also eliminates the need
for a foot-operated “kill switch.”
