Transformer
Dismounting
1. Dismount rear cover (page 33-34).
2. Loosen the two screws (A) of the transformer from below in the base plate.
3. Push the transformer to the right so that the mains switch part is exposed from
the base plate and lift it upwards.
4. Unhook the cable to the circuit boards from the transformer.
Checking the transformer
Connect the transformer to mains.
Measure the tension and resistence between the contact pins.
1-3
shall be approx. 13 Volt AC Lamp, computer.
4/5-6/7 shall be approx. 28 Volt AC Step motor, drive motor.
2-8
shall be approx. 100-0 k Ohm Foot control connected
Fuses
On the circuit board of the transformer there are two fuses.
They can be exchanged without disassemble the transformer.
Fuse (B): for 120 V machines 3.5 A/250 V
for 220 V machines 6.3 A/250 V
Fuse (C): 2 A/250 V
Dismounting the transformer and the circuit board
1. Remove the lower part of the transfomer casing.
2. Remove the soldering from the 7 connections of the transformer to the
circuit board.
3. Remove the circuit board.
