Replacing a GPU Card
Removing a GPU Card
1. Determine the location and numbering of
the GPU card to be removed.
2. Remove one end of the power cable from
the GPU card to be removed. The other
end connecting to the PCIe board does not
need to be removed.
3. Loosen the screws on the GPU card using
a Phillips screwdriver. See (1) in the figure.
4. Remove the GPU card from the slot. See
(2) in the figure.
5. Remove the Atlas GPU card bracket from
the GPU card.
6. If a new GPU card is to be installed, install
the removed Atlas GPU card bracket and
place the original GPU card in an ESD bag.
7. If a new GPU card is not to be installed
immediately, install the removed Atlas
GPU card bracket on the GP608 chassis
and install a GPU card filler module. Place
the power cable in the GP608 cable guide.
