Removing a CPU from the G560 V5

Removing a CPU

1. Determine the location  of the CPU to be removed.

2. Use a T20 torx screwdriver  to loosen  the four middle screws (corresponding 

to 2 on the heat sink label) on the heat sink.  See (1) in the figure on the right. 

Then loosen  the two diagonal  screws (corresponding  to 1 on the heat sink 

label). See (2) in figure on the right.

3. Lift the heat sink and place it upside  down on the desk.
