1.10 Adjusting the Volume
A single volume control adjusts both the system volume (volume level of sound
notifications and audio/video playback) and the ring volume (volume of the phone
ring) of your device.
1.
Press the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on the left panel of your device to open
the Volume screen.
2.
To increase or decrease the volume
level, drag your finger up or down the
volume bars, or press the VOLUME
UP/DOWN button.

Touch
Vibrate
to switch the device
to Vibrate mode.
•
Touch
Silent
to mute the device
volume.
3.
The Volume screen automatically
closes. You can also manually close
the screen by touching the screen.
Note
Use the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on
the left panel of your device to adjust
the conversation phone volume during
an ongoing call.
Volume bars
To separately adjust the system and ring volumes
Slide to the
Settings
tab, then touch
Sound
.
Turn off the
Single Volume
option.
Press the VOLUME UP/DOWN button.
To switch between the Ring Volume and System Volume screens, touch
Ring
or
System
on top of the screen.
Follow steps to of the previous section to adjust the volume level.
