Getting Started 1
To turn off the device
Press and hold the POWER button for a few seconds.
Tap
Yes when a message prompts you to choose whether or not to turn off
the device completely.
Importing SIM contacts and auto configuring data connection
settings
After the device restarts for the first time, the
SIM Card Changed
screen appears
and gives you the option to import SIM card contacts to your device and/or
automatically configure your device’s data connections, such as G/EDGE/GPRS,
MMS, and WAP.
Note If you prefer to import SIM contacts or configure the device’s data connection settings
later, touch
Cancel
on the SIM Card Changed screen.

On the SIM Card Change screen, touch
Next
.
The device will start to import SIM contacts to
your device.
2.
When finished importing SIM contacts, tap
Next
to launch Connection Setup.
Note
If your SIM card supports multiple network
operator profiles, you will be prompted to select
the network profile to use. Select the profile, and
then tap
Next
.
3.
Tap
Next
. Connection Setup will start to
configure your device’s data connection settings.
4. After Connection Setup completes the
configuration, tap
Restart
.
