Let’s you select the type of network your phone connects to so you
can place phone calls and have data connection.
GSM call settings
If you’re using the phone outside of the United States in a GSM
coverage area, you can set the following options:
TTY mode
Allow the use of a TTY (teletypewriter) device for
users who are visually or hearing impaired.
Caller ID
Enable or disable Caller ID.
Call waiting
Enable or disable Call waiting.
Cell broadcast
Enable or disable receipt of cell broadcast messages
from your service provider.
Cell broadcast

Configure channels and language for cell broadcast
messages.
CDMA call settings
If you’re using the phone within the United States, or outside of the
United States in a CDMA coverage area, you can set the following
options:
TTY mode
Allow the use of a TTY (teletypewriter) device for
users who are visually or hearing impaired.
NBPCD
Set the calling parameters for the current country,
such as country code and IDD prefix.
Voice Privacy
Encrypts outgoing voice calls and uses secure
channels when available.
