CAUTION: To reduce the risk of damage to the equipment when installing HPE CL Eth 1x100Gb
MLX5 PCIe3 or HPE CL Eth 2x50Gb MLX5 PCIe3:
• You must adjust the thermal policy in BIOS setup to a minimum of Increased Cooling or
Maximum Cooling for added thermal protection. See Server Management menu .
• Do not exceed 30ºC (86ºF) ambient temperature.

For 10NVMe SFF, PCIe cards are not supported due to location of NVMe risers.
Procedure
1. Power down the server .
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack .
b. Remove the server from the rack .
4. Remove the access panel .
5. Remove the riser cage .
6. If a retaining screw is installed, remove the screw and then remove the expansion card.
