1. Launch HyperTerminal from the

menu. Open an existing connection or create a new one with the
following settings:

2. Enable the “ASCII Setup” settings by selecting “

(Result: HyperTerminal sends a line return at the end of each line of code.)
3. Enter the CLI password (default is

).

The CLI commands can be used to access, configure, and manage your WL520 device using Telnet or a terminal emulation
application, such as HyperTerminal. Log into the WL520 unit using Telnet:
1. Go to the DOS command prompt on your computer.
2. Type in
telnet <IP Address of the unit>
.
3. Enter the CLI password (default is
public
).
