Authorization state of a controlled port
Control direction
In the unauthorized state, a controlled port can perform:

Bidirectional traffic control to deny traffic to and from a client.
•
Unidirectional traffic control to deny traffic from a client.
NOTE:
The HP devices support only unidirectional traffic control.
