Modifying Print Process Attributes

Modifying Print Process Attributes

You can modify the attributes of a print process when it is in a dormant or procerror 
state:

1. Find out which devices the print process controls:

) PRINT $print-process, XREF

2. Drain the device:

) DEV $device-name, DRAIN

3. Start the print process with the new attributes:

) PRINT $print-process [ , print-process-attribute ]

Print process attributes are described in 

Table 15-4

 on page 15-10.

Example

To modify an attribute of the print process named $SPLA by changing the backup 
processor from 2 to 4:

1. Enter:
