A t ypical A CD consisting of three A CD pairs might lo ok lik e

This A CD w ould allo w Read and W rite access to the ENGR user
of the MFG accoun t; Read and W rite access to an y user of the
MRKT accoun t along with the ability to read or cop y the A CD;
and Read access to an y user in an y accoun t.
^ ler efer enc e A le con taining one or more A CD pairs. A CD pairs m ust
b e separated b y semi-colons and may b e placed on separate
lines. A single A CD pair may not span more than one line.
The le name m ust b e preceded b y the ^ sign (caret sym b ol) to
indicate that the designated le con tains the A CD denition.
This is kno wn as an indirect le.
The ALTSEC command fails if the indirect le do es not con tain
a syn tactically correct A CD. A CD pairs may b e on separate
lines, but a pair may not span lines. P aren theses are optional
when dening an ac dp air within an indirect le.
