Battery
Information
The
receiver
RF
section
uses
a
3.6
V
lithium
battery
to
enable
the
receiver
memory
to
retain
data.
The
date
when
the
battery
was
installed
is
on
a
label
on
the
rear
panel
of
the
instrument.

Figure
1-6.)
The
minimum
life
expectancy
of
the
battery
is
8
years
at
25
C,
or
1
year
at
55
C.
If
you
experience
problems
with
the
battery
or
the
recommended
time
period
for
battery
replacement
has
elapsed,
see

in
the

and

manual.
If
you
wish
to
replace
the
battery
yourself,
you
can
purchase
the
service
documentation
that
provides
all
necessary
test
and
maintenance
information.
The
battery
is
soldered
onto
the
receiver's
processor
board.
Service
documentation
may
be
ordered
through
your

sales
and
service
oce
.
After
replacing
the
battery
,
write
the
date
of
battery
replacement
on
the
rear-panel
label.
