Accessory ac P o w er Outlet
All p o w er connections for instrumen ts in the system are lo cated inside the cabinet via a
m ultiple-outlet p o w er strip. On some systems, an extra p o w er outlet is pro vided on the p o w er
strip for accessories. Sp ecial \b o ot" ac p o w er cables are included with y our HP 85108 system
for this purp ose.
CA UTION
Before connecting an y equipmen t to the extra p o w er outlet, refer to the
paragraph en titled En vironmen tal Characteristics earlier in this section for the
maximum V A ratings for this outlet on y our system.
The HP 85108 Installed In a Different Cabinet
Hewlett-Pac k ard strongly recommends that the HP 85108 system cabinet b e used with the
HP 85108 pulsed-RF system. HP is not obligated to supp ort user-congured pulsed-RF rac k
systems other than the HP 85108 rac k-moun ted system. The customer takes full resp onsibility
for instrumen t damage incurred due to using rac ks or system cabinets other than the one
supplied with the HP 85108 system.
