Pulse
Repetition

eriod,
PRP
The
time
from
the
50
p ercen
t
p oint
on
the
rising
edge
of
one
pulse
to
the
50
p ercen
t
p oint
on
the
rising
edge
of
the
next
pulse.
F
or
in
ternal
triggering

the

the
instrumen
t
state.

The
pulse
is
turned
ON
for
a
user-sp ecied
time
and

the

domain,
the
frequency

not

hange,
making
the
maxim
um
PRP
ab out
3
milliseconds.
With
a
v
eraging,
the
PRP
can
b e
ab out
1
millisecond
during
part
of
the
measuremen
t.
Other
factors
whic

the
system

are
calibration

dut

cycle,
and
pulse

domain
stop
time.
If
the
PRP
is
con
trolled
externally
,
the
HP
8510
external
trigger
input
is
used
to
sync
hronize
the
analyzer

pulse.
