Procedure
1. Connect equipment as shown in Figure 4-7. The position of the DUT can affect spurious
responses; therefore, place the DUT in its normal operating position (i.e., flat on its feet) for this
test. Allow the instruments to warm up for one hour.
2. Press [INSTRPRESET] on the DUT. Press the [STOPFREQ] key and enter [2]
[.]
[3] [GHz].
3. Press the DUT’s [POWERLEVEL] key and enter [0] [dBm].
4. Press the [CW] key and enter any frequency of interest within the selected frequency range.
S. Set up the spectrum analyzer to view the DUT’s RF output signal. Set the reference level to place
the peak of the DUT’s RF output signal on the reference level at the top graticule line.
