The AM input has these operating characteristics (all values

The 3314A's output signal (the carrier) can
be
amplitude modulated to

The sense of the AM input, along with the carrier, is inverted when Invert Func-
tion is asserted.
The 3314A modulation capabilities include Amplitude Modulation (AM), Amplitude
Modulation Suppressed
Carrier (AMSC)
and Frequency Modulation (FM).
The
3314A can also be used as a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). All of these
operations require an external modulating signal.
