The product software for the HP Color LaserJet 2605 series printer supports the following operating
systems.

NOTE

The HP Color LaserJet 2605 series printer does not support the Windows NT 4.0 or

Windows 95 operating systems.

Fully supported operating systems

The following Windows operating systems fully support the HP Color LaserJet 2605 series printer
through the software installer, and drivers for these operating systems are available on the printing-
system software CD that comes with the product.

Microsoft Windows 2000 (requires Administrator privileges)

●

Microsoft Windows XP (32-bit; requires Administrator privileges)

NOTE

The HP Color LaserJet 2605 series printer does not support Windows 98 First Edition.

Supported operating systems for Plug-and-Play or Add-Printer-Wizard

installations

The following operating systems support plug-and-play or add–printer–wizard installations.
