Uninstall methods
The following three methods exist for uninstalling the HP Color LaserJet 2605 printing-system software
from your computer:

Program group . Click Uninstall from the HP Color LaserJet 2605 program group
from Programs menu on your computer. This is the preferred uninstall method.
●
Add/Remove programs . Click Add/Remove Programs from the Windows Control Panel, and
then click the HP Color LaserJet 2605 software components that you want to remove.
●
HP Color LaserJet 2605 printing-system CD . Reinsert the HP Color LaserJet 2605 printing-
system CD into the CD-ROM drive on your computer and then click Uninstall .
Uninstall component list
The HP Color LaserJet 2605 uninstaller removes the following components from your computer:

Drivers
●
HP ToolboxFX
●
User guides
The HP Color LaserJet 2605 uninstaller does not remove the following components from your computer:
●
HP Solution Center (including the HP Product Assistant and the HP Software Tour)
●
HP Extended Capabilities
●
HP Software Update
●
HP Marketing Assistant
●
HP Photosmart Premier
●
HP Imaging Device Transfer
You must remove these components using Microsoft Windows Add/Remove Programs feature. A
warning screen appears if any other HP products are still using the components you want to remove.
