7. Warranty Period And Client Service
7.1 Important information
Hoxter appliances are made from high quality materials with a long life span. The manufactoring process is subject of a thorough control,
which should prevent eventual claims. Installation of such products requires expert knowledge and may be done only by a proffesional
companies respecting all the required rules and standards.
7.2 Client service
If you need to schedule servicing or plan maintenance of your fireplace insert, please contact the company which installed it. The contact
is in the warranty card.
7.3 Warranty period
Warranty period starts when the appliance is installed at end consumer by an expert company. During the warranty period all the
malfunctions caused by the material or production fault will be fixed. There is a 5 years warranty on the body of the fireplace. All the
mechanicle parts and parts of the burn chamber are subject of a 2 years warranty. Warranty is not applicable on the common wear
of the parts. (

) Replacement of the spare parts doesn‘t extend the warranty period of the product. The warranty period given
by law is applicable on the spare parts.
The thermostatic and overpressure valves as well as the de-airetating valves are not subject
of warranty.
7.4 Warranty conditions
· Installation of the fireplace insert may be done only by a proffesional company in respect to our instructions and all the applicable laws
and standards.
· It‘s not allowed to adjust or alter the fireplace insert or its components in any way.
· When operating the fireplace insert the operating instructions must be followed.
· The warranty is not aplicable on the damage caused by transport, manipulation or bad storage
· The warranty is not aplicable on common wear of the fireplace insert and its components (
chpt 7.5
)
· The warranty is not aplicable if the fireplace insert was overheated, ie loading too much wood or using a wrong fuel (
chpt 3
)
· The warranty is not aplicable on eventual noises caused by thermal expension of metal parts.
· Any compensation for damage beyond the scope of this article is excluded.
7.5 Common Wear
The warranty conditions are not aplicable on common wear of the fireplace insert and its components, which also applies to:
· Wear of the lining of the burn chamber. The individual pieces of the lining expand during the burning. This process may cause
microcracks. If the individual pieces of the burn chamber preserve their original shape, they also fulfil their function.
· Wear of the surface treatment: change of the shade or color of the paint or on the galvanised surface caused by thermal stress or overheating.
· Wear of the sealing: decreasing of the sealing function caused by heat, mechanical wear and hardening of the sealing.
· Wear of the ceramic glass: dirt on glass caused by soot, color changes, embrittelment and cracking of the glass or crystalic structure
changes caused by high temperature.
7.6 How To Make A Complaint
To make a complaint contact the company which has installed the fireplace. With the complaint please attach:
· warranty card with serial number of the product and installation date
· description and photos of the malfunction
Plan an inspection by an expert - stove fitter before the start of the heating season. Every two year it‘s
suggested to replace all the door sealing.
