Connecting the hydraulic system
Connect the hydraulic system only after it has
been depressurized on machine and implement
side.
The hydraulic system is under high pressure.
Hydraulic oil escaping under pressure can pen-
etrate the skin and cause serious injuries. In the
event of injury, consult a doctor immediately.
at the hose brackets, in order to prevent mixing
up by mistake.
The symbol thereby is always printed on the
hydraulic hose that needs to be pressurised to
bring the machine to transport position.
When operating hydraulic components,
slow down the control unit before the
machine components reach the stop
position.
Connecting the road lighting equipment
For transportation on public roads the road light-
ing equipment must be plugged in and needs to
be in good working order.
Connect the plug of the lighting
equipment to the tractor.
Check lighting equipment and warning decals
for function and cleanliness.
Parking the machine
When maneuvering
the machine,
pay attention to the surroundings. No
persons (children) are to remain in the
maneuvering area of the machine.
Thoroughly clean tanks and fertilizer equip -
ment. Fertilizer is aggressive and speeds up
the corrosion process. It especially attacks
galvanized components like bolts.
The drill should be parked indoors or under a
roof so that no moisture can accumulate in the
tank, metering unit and seed hoses.
Indoors the machine can be folded and parked.
Outdoors the machine must be unfolded. Other-
wise there is a risk that water may run through
e.g. the downpipes into the metering units and
other components.
In parked position the firming wheels
must not rest on the ground. They will
be damaged.
You should either support the frame
high enough, or disassemble the
firming wheels and insert them into the
bracket from above.
Parking
ground in a shed or outdoors, shut down the
tractor.
Secure the machine against rolling away.
Outdors unfold the machine, disassemble the
firming wheels or support the frame.
Disconnect hydraulic and electrical connec-
tions and hook into bracket devices.
Unhitch the machine.
Parking outdoors; After the end of the season
the metering units must be disassembled,
cleaned and stored in a dry place.
It is highly recommended to store the
machine inside or under a roof.
