Cleaning
Always wear the required protective equipment
when cleaning. Harmful dusts may have deposit-
ed in the area of pneumatics and metering units.
Empty the seed hopper.
Close the seed hopper cover.
Remove the job computers and store in a
dry place.
Remove the toolbar frame end caps and
plugs and clean out the tube with
compressed air. The tube is used as a
vacuum and can collect dust and seed
treatment.
Before the start of the season
Reinstall the metering units.
Reassemble the cleaning cover on the frame
Parking the Maestro 12 SW
In a shed / under roof
The machine can be parked in folded condition.
The firming wheels in the middle section must be
disassembled. The seed bar can then rest on
the opening disks.
However, it is much better to place wooden
blocks under the frame in order to relieve the
forces on the row units.
Parking outdoors
Outdoors the machine must be unfolded.
All firming wheels must be disassembled. The
seed bar can then rest on the opener disk of the
fertilzer equipment.
However, it is much better to place wooden
blocks under the frame in order to relieve
pressure on the opening disk.

In a shed / under roof
The machine can be parked in folded condition.
Parking outdoors
Outdoors the machine must be unfolded.
For this purpose insert aluminium clips at the
hydraulic cylinders for lift hydraulics and at the
support wheels.
Then the seed bar can be lowered and support-
ed by the support wheels.
If the seed bar is not lowered correct-
ly, the front of the drawbar may lift up
because of the negative tongue load.
and insure they are air tight. Any leak will
result in metering faults and poor seeding.
