Remove the O-ring attached to the measurement cell nozzle, and then take out the
mesh filter. Clean or replace the filter depending on how contaminated it is.

Install the measurement cell by reversed steps for removing.
Tip
The diagrams in this chapter are for the RA-10. For the RA-20, however, the same steps are also
applicable for replacing the filter.
Replacing the sensor (cathode electrode)
The cathode electrode must be replaced about once yearly, although this frequency varies
depending on water quality and operating conditions. Replacement of the electrode requires
no tools, and can be carried out easily by the customer.
This section describes the procedure for replacing the cathode electrode.
Operation
1.
Check that the converter is OFF.
2.
Close the valve to shut off the sample.
3.
Remove the sensor cap and take out the sensor holder.
Before attaching the sensor holder, clean up residual beads on the thread and O-ring.
