Maintenance of sensor
This section describes the maintenance procedure for a general residual chlorine sensor.
Checking the flow rate of the sample
For the residual chlorine sensor, measured data is affected by the sample flow rate. If the flow
rate decreases due to clogged piping or the like, the reading may become lower. Be sure to
check the flow rate of the sample that comes to the measurement cell. The procedure for
checking the flow rate is shown below.
Liquid level in the overflow cell
For the RA-10, the flow rate can be checked by the liquid level in the overflow cell.
Use this method along with the following bead motion:
Method of bead motion
It is possible to adjust flow rate by observing bead motion.
Method using a flowmeter
Flow rate can be checked by a flowmeter installed inlet or outlet of the RA-20.
