4.2 ION Electrode Maintenance

Filling the electrode: disassembly procedure
1.
Remove the protective tube from the combination
electrode, and mount the rubber cap on the tip type
ion electrode.
2.
Unplug the rubber stopper from the internal solution
(outer tube) filler port, and remove the internal
solution using a dropper.
3.
Screw the electrode cap by hand and pull it 5 cm to
10 cm toward the electrode connector side.
4.
Hold the electrode cap and push to stand the
electrode vertically on a desk or other horizontal
surface, and remove the internal body 1 of the
electrode.
5.
Move the silicon tube of the internal body 1
downward to expose the internal solution filler port
(inner tube).
6.
Use a dropper to fill the electrode inner tube with
the gel internal solution (model 330) until the
solution nears the filler port of the inner tube.
