Internal solution discharge operations
1.
Remove the protective tube from the combination
electrode, and mount the rubber cap on the tip type
ion electrode.
2.
Unplug the rubber stopper from the standard
solution filler port on the top of the electrode.
3.
Stand the electrode vertically on a desk or other
horizontal surface, with the bottom of the electrode
(the side with the rubber cap) facing down. Push the
electrode down two or three times to let the internal
solution seep out through the liquid junction.
Filling internal solution (inner tube)
The inner tube of the electrode is of an air-tight structure
that allows almost no outflow. Replace the internal
solution in the inner tube, however, when the internal
solution reduces less than half after a long period of use.
(The frequency of internal solution filling is once a year
under normal use. It depends on the use and storage
conditions.)
To fill the internal solution in the inner tube, you have to
disassemble the electrode.
Take extra care for handling the electrode.
Requirements: A dropper, model 330 gel internal
solution, the internal solution of the electrode.
