Mounting and Connection Instructions IDENTLOC Evaluation Unit
-
Connect operating voltage 12 V DC (e.g. accumulator)
-
The cover contact must be open.
- Switch position S2/2 = "OFF" (BUS-1):
LED “Totalling indicator" (red) lights up.
- Switch position S2/2 = "ON" (BUS-2):
LED "Totalling indicator” (red) does not light up.
-
Switch S1/8 to "ON".
The LED "Teaching mode" (yellow) lights up.
The LED "Totalling indicator” (red) also lights up at
switch position S2/2 = "ON" (BUS-2).
Teaching mode is now activated.
B) With connection to control panel
-
Operating voltage and BUS are connected to the control
panel. BUS communication is possible.
-
The cover contact must be open.
The opened cover contact triggers a tamper alarm at the
control panel.
The "Totalling indicator” (red) lights up
-
Switch S1/8 to "ON".
The LED "Teaching mode" (yellow) lights up.
Teaching mode is now activated.

Teaching mode
The teaching mode
must
be carried out
During initial commissioning

7.8.1
Function
In
, the sensor inputs 1 to 5 are checked for correctly functioning sensors.
teaching mode
Inputs 1 to 4:
T
of each connected sensor is read from the data telegram and stored in
he
code
a non-volatile storage.
This means that data codes that have once been stored, remain stored when the EU is degenerized.
Input 5:
The EU checks whether a sensor is connected with 12k1
resistor.

7.8.2
Run Teaching mode, EU operating mode "IDENTLOC"
(see 7.2)
Close the housing of the EU (the cover contact must be closed). Run Teaching mode via the control panel programming,
function 405 (see Programming Instruction 561-MB24/48/100).
- or
Run Teaching mode as described in the following Chapter.
