Destorage
CAUTION: AT EACH DESTORAGE, YOU MUST CHECK THERE IS NO LUBRICANT IN
THE PLASTIC PACKING OR ON THE EQUIPMENT. IF THERE IS LUBRICANT
LEAKAGE, REPLACE THE BEARINGS (REF. SUBTASK 21-22-91-010-005-A01)
AND (REF. SUBTASK 21-22-91-410-001-A01).
(a)
Running-in of the fans is done at factory. The fans need no special care on the initial or
later starts.
(b)
Fans are fitted with lubricated-for-life bearings. These bearings do not need any
lubrication on the destorage and operation phases.
(c)
After 6 years of storage, the fan must be repaired, by replacing the components the
expiry date of which is reached.
(d)
After unstorage, replacement of expired components, or before use, check for good
operation of the fan carrying out the test described in the TESTING AND FAULT
ISOLATION page block.
