1. To remove the spark plug from the rear
cylinder, raise the fuel tank (page 66).
Rear cylinder
(1) Spark plug wrench
2. Disconnect the spark plug caps from the
spark plugs.
3. Clean any dirt from around the spark
plug bases.
Remove the spark plugs using the spark
plugwrench (1) furnished in the tool kit.
4. Inspect the electrodes and center
porcelain for deposits, erosion or carbon
fouling. If the erosion or deposit is
heavy, replace the plug.
