BRAKE SYSTEM INSPECTION

Refer to the Safety Precautions on page
84.

Check the brake system as follows: 
1. Place the motorcycle on its side stand,

stop the engine, and place the
transmission in neutral.

(1) Left caliper assembly 

2. Move the left caliper assembly (1)

upward and measure the stroke of the
tip of the secondary master cylinder (2).
If the stroke (3) exceeds 4.0 mm (0.16
in), see your Honda dealer.
