Do not use the snowblower on rough or uneven surfaces with the
auger ground clearance set for hard snow or surfaces.
This may cause serious damage to the snow blowing mechanism.
Factory pre-set clearance:
At the scraper:
At the auger:
Wear inspection
Adjust the skid equally on both sides.
Be sure to tighten the skid and scraper bolts securely after making
adjustments.
3.0 7.0 mm (0.12 0.28 in)
8.0 12.0 mm (0.31 0.47 in)
If the thickness of the skid contacting the ground surface is 0.5 mm
(0.02 in), turn the skid upside down.
Replace the skid if the thickness is less than 0.5 mm (0.02 in) after
turning the skid upside down.
