CLUTCH/OIL PUMP/GEAR SHIFT/KICK STARTER

RIGHT CRANKCASE COVER

REMOVAL

Drain all oil f r o m the engine.

Disconnect the clutch cable at the engine.

Remove the right muffler assembly.
Remove the kick starter pedal.

Remove the right crankcase cover by removing

the screws.

CLUTCH

Install the clutch holder on the lifter plate

and into kick spindle and remove the 14 mm

lock nut.

Remove the pin, lock washer and oil pump

drive gear.

Remove the four lifter plate setting bolts, the

lifter plate and the four clutch springs.

NOTE

Loosen the bolts in an X pattern in t w o

or more steps.
