Check the contact between the valve and valve
seat w i t h Prussian Blue.
If the contact area on the valve face is too
high, the seat must be lowered, w i t h a 37.5°
grinding stone.

grinding stone.
Refinish the seat to 1.0 mm (0.0394 in.)

After grinding the seat, apply lapping com-
pound to valve face and lap the valve lightly.
CAUTION
Do not allow the lapping compound to
enter the valve guide.
After lapping, wash any residual com-
pound off the cylinder head and valve.
