CM 1 8 5 T REAR WHEEL/REAR SUSPENSION

• SWINGARM INSTALLATION

Install the rear fork and tighten the pivot bolt.

TORQUE: 5 . 0 - 6 . 0 kg-m ( 3 6 . 2 - 4 3 . 4 ft-lb.)

Install the drive chain cover and the rear wheel.

(See page 12-7.)

Install the shock absorbers.

Install the left and right mufflers.

REAR BRAKE PEDAL

• BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL

Disconnect the brake rod and remove the stop-

light switch spring. Remove the cotter pin and

washer, and remove the brake pedal.

NOTE

Note the location of the stoplight switch

spring.

After installing the brake pedal, adjust the

free play. (See page 3-13.)
