Forward Flush
We recommend that a Forward Flush be conducted on at least a weekly basis especially for
applications involving high levels of turbidity. This can be done manually by opening a ball valve
for a few minutes (included with
our
UP-INST-BF
quick installation kit), or you can add the optional
automatic Forward Flush Kit (
UP-FF
) that will perform this flush for you on a daily basis after the
Back Flush.
Quick Installation Kits
We are pleased to offer optional quick installation kits that enable installers to quickly connect the
system to the Back Flush Pressure Tank, etc. These kits use brand-name quick-connect style
fittings and PEX-tubing for a tidy, professional-looking installation in a fraction of the time. These
kits are designed specifically for use with the Wellmate WM-9 Back Flush Pressure Tank. Do not
use the quick installation kits if you are using an alternative pressure tank or if you are installing
multiple systems in parallel configuration.
If you are not using one our Quick Installation Kits
AND WellMate WM-9 Back Flush Pressure Tank, this is not the correct installation manual for
your installation!
The
UP-INST-BF Quick Installation Kit
is used if your system will be forward flushed manually (you
did not purchase the optional Forward Flush Kit).
The
UP-INST-BF/FF Quick Installation Kit
is used if your system will be equipped with the optional
Forward Flush Kit
UP-FF
.
