ASSEMBLY

Screw the other end of the suction hose onto the pump

inlet. Tighten securely.

NOTE:

Be careful to avoid cross-threading, which can

cause the hose to leak during use.

Pull on the hose to be certain it is properly secured.

To attach discharge hose to pump:

Screw the collar on the discharge hose (not included)

onto the pump outlet. Hand tighten.

NOTE:

Be careful to avoid cross-threading, which can

cause the hose to leak during use.

Pull on the hose to be certain it is properly secured.

To attach suction hose to water source:

With the water pump turned off, place the filtered end of

the suction hose into the water source.

NOTE:

For maximum suction, keep the distance from the

pump and water source as short as possible.

NOTICE:

Always observe all local regulations when discharging
pumped water. Some areas may have restrictions against
discharging pumped water.  Check with the appropriate
authorities before using this water pump.

OPERATION

DANGER:

Carbon Monoxide.

Using a water pump indoors CAN

KILL YOU IN MINUTES.
Water pump exhaust contains high levels of carbon
monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas you cannot see or
smell. If you can smell the water pump exhaust, you are
breathing CO. But even if you cannot smell the exhaust,
you could be breathing CO.



Never use a water pump inside homes, garages,
crawl-spaces, or other partly enclosed areas. Deadly
levels of carbon monoxide can build up in these areas.
Using a fan or opening windows and doors does NOT
supply enough fresh air.



ONLY use a water pump outdoors and at least 20 feet
away from open windows, doors, and vents with the
engine exhaust directed away. These openings can
pull in water pump exhaust.

Even when you use a water pump correctly, CO may
leak into the home. ALWAYS use a battery-powered or
battery-backup CO alarm in the home.  If you start to
feel sick, dizzy, or weak after the water pump has been
running, move to fresh air RIGHT AWAY. See a doctor.
You could have carbon monoxide poisoning.

WARNING:

Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless.
Remember that a careless fraction of a second is
sufficient to inflict serious injury.

WARNING:

Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to
comply with ANSI Z87.1 along with hearing protection.
Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into
your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.

WARNING:

Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this tool. The use
of attachments or accessories not recommended can
result in serious personal injury.

WARNING:

Secure the discharge hose during water pump
operation. Never direct a water stream toward people
or pets, or any electrical device. Failure to heed this
warning could result in serious injury. Discharging
water into electrical devices could result in death by
electrocution or electric shock.  Directing water towards
people or pets could result in serious personal injury.

WARNING:

Never operate the water pump without both the
suction hose, suction hose strainer, and discharge
hose installed. Never place hands or any other body
part inside the pump; contact with moving parts can
cause serious personal injury.
