3. Cut off the hose piece (D) on the appropriate length
(1-5). The correct number can be found in this list:

4. Put the hose piece (D) on the discharge nozzle of your
pump and fix it with the hose clamp (C).
5. For TP28 only: to ensure venting, drill an 8mm hole in
the bottom of the coupling piece (B) as shown.

6. Insert the coupling piece
(B)
into the hose piece
(D)
as shown and secure it with a hose clamp
(C)
as well.
7. Place the pump in the sump. Make sure that the sur-
faces on the coupling piece are clean. Now insert the
coupling
(B)
into the receptacle
(A)
in the shaft and
press down the blue lever on the coupling piece
(B).
The blue lever snaps firmly into the counterpart (A).
8. Now guide the pump connection cable out of the tank
through the vent line.
9. The pump connection cable must be sealed when it
exits the vent line. Use the cable gland provided for
this purpose.

Cut off the nipples accordingly so that you can pull the
pump connection cable or the pneumatic hose tightly
through the resulting opening. For the pumps with Schuko
plug, you must also cut open the cable bushing once
lengthwise up to the opened nipple.
Now press the cable gland into the corresponding sleeve/
branch of your vent pipe.
Automatic float switching with one pump, Saniquick
UF
The Saniquick UF version (single pump lifting unit) is
switched on and off by means of an automatic float switch.
When the water level rises to a certain maximum level
(switch-on point), the floating float automatically switch-
es the pump on. When the water level has dropped to a
certain minimum level (switch-off point) due to pumping
down, the float switches the pump off.
The switching distance, i.e. the water level difference be-
tween the switch-on and switch-off point, can be deter-
mined individually for all pumps except C140/C150.
For proper function, please observe the following in-
structions:
The fixing points as well as the length of the freely mov-
able end of the float cable must be adjusted to the desired
switching level. It must be ensured that the switch-on
point of the pump is below the supply line in order to avoid
a backflow of the pumped medium. The switch-off point
must be above the upper edge of the pump housing so
that no air cushion can form in the pump, which may make
it necessary to vent the pump.
Under no circumstances should the float with cable
simply be thrown into the pumped medium, as correct
switching is only possible when the float rotates around
the attachment point of the cable. Possible consequenc-
es of non-observance are flooding (pump does not switch
on), or destruction of the pump due to dry running (pump
does not switch off).
After each modification of the float mounting, it is es-
sential to check the proper functioning of the float
circuit by means of a test run.
Installation of two pumps with Saniquick UFT
In the UFT version, two pumps are installed in the tank.
The procedure is analogous to the installation of one
pump.
Since the UFT version is switched on by the control unit
and the pitot tube and not by the float switch, the per-
manently installed floats of the C(H)... pumps must be
locked. To do this, insert the supplied float lock
(2)
over
the swivel joint on the float arm as shown.
