A trial run or functional test of the machine must only
be carried out in compliance with general operating
conditions!
For general maintenance, inspection and repair
work, the recirculation pump must be disconnected
from all circuits and secured against or blocked from
accidental start-up again.
We remind you that we are not liable for any damag-
es caused by our machines due to improper repair
attempts which were not performed by the manufac-
turer or an authorized service centre, or due to a part
exchange carried out without original replacement
parts. The same provisions apply to accessories.
Do not begin work until all rotating parts are still!
Clean recirculation pump and attached accessories
thoroughly with clean water before beginning work.
When releasing the oil control screw, excess pres-
sure can be released from the oil chamber and trans-
mission. Only completely unscrew screws once the
pressure equalisation has taken place.
Unless stated otherwise, the torque values in the ta-
bles should be used. Values for clean, lubricated
screws.

6.2. Maintenance
It is imperative to carry out a maintenance schedule in
order to keep informed about the status of the recircu-
lation pump. This list must be presented to the trade
association, the technical inspection agencies and the
manufacturer of the system or the stirrer on request. The
full warranty claim requires the annual review of the recir-
culation pump by the manufacturer of the system or the
recirculation pump.
6.2.1. General (Monthly or per every 500 hours of
operation)
Keep the recirculation pump clean (otherwise cooling is
affected). Coiled foreign bodies must be removed from
the recirculation pump. The connection cable must be
examined for abrasions, drag marks, buckling and other
damage. If the cable is defective, there is a danger that
the agitation medium enters the agitator and can cause
damage.
A defective cable must be replaced immediately by the
manufacturer or an authorised workshop.
The recircu-
lation pump must be checked for damage to the anti-cor-
rosive coating and leaks.
6.2.2. Electric motor
The power consumption must be checked monthly during
all 3 phases. Damage to the engine, transmission and
storage can be detected from the current consumption.
Lubrication:
The bearings are lubricated for life (if noise
develops, bearings must be replaced at the manufactur-
er’s plant). The oil of the oil chamber should be changed
after each 6000 hours of operation.
Insulation test:
If the insulation resistance is less than 2
megaohms, the submersible mixer cannot be switched
on. (Measuring DC voltage 1500 V)
6.2.3. Stirring propeller
Checks: Check the stirring propeller periodically. Remove
coiled foreign bodies such as twines and cords. They can
lead to irregular movement and thus to strong vibrations
of the system and damage to components of the agitator.
Remember to clean the propeller stirrer in case of highly
uneven movement.
6.3. Oil change
The oil chamber of the recirculation pump is filled
with lubricating oil at the factory. An oil change is
only required in case of damage. Inform your autho-
rised workshop.
