3. General description
3.1. Use
The recirculation pumps are suitable for pumping appli-
cations with high flow at low discharge head up to max.
1.5% dry matter content. Areas of application include:
•
the pumping of sludge from nitrification into denitri-
fication
•
Natural Swimming Ponds
•
Water rides
•
Fish farming
3.2. Types of use
The motor is designed for the S1 (continuous) mode of
operation, with a max. switching rate of 15 switching op-
erations / hour.
3.3. Design
The fully submersible unit consists of the motor and the
appropriate propeller. All important components are gen-
erously dimensioned.

3.3.2. Motor
The three-phase asynchronous motor consists of a stator
and the motor shaft with the rotor set. The power sup-
ply cable is designed to handle the maximum mechanical
power in accordance with the characteristic line or name
plate of the mixer. The cable entry points and the cable
are sealed water-tight against the conveyed medium. The
shaft bearings are robust, maintenance-free and perma-
nently greased roller bearings.
