14.3 Operation
14.3.1 Starting the machine
N O T E
Before starting the machine check always the safety facilities. Observe the
recommendations for safety of work according the manual.

 Push the start button C .
 Turn the oscillation button A in position “1”.
14.3.2 Stopping the machine
The machine is stopped by pressing the red button D , which stops the motor.
14.3.3 Emergency shut down
The emergency shutdown is effected by pressing the emergency button B, which stops the motor.
14.4 Operation modes
The following operations can be performed on the machine
 Grinding of workpieces with square or rectangular form
 Grinding of workpieces with arc form
 Grinding of the veneer edges
 Banked grinding
A T T E N T I O N
Stop and pull out the power plug before any adjustments!
14.4.1 Adjusting the cylindrical grinding unit
 Remove the protector D (fig. 6) on the free roll ø100;
 Loosen the tightening handle М , placed under the lateral board N .
 Lift the lateral board to the required height;
 Tighten the handle М .
 Mount the protector D .
14.4.2 Adjusting for grinding of long pieces
 Remove the protector D (fig. 6) on the free roll ø100;
 Lift both catchers I and J above the machine in a position when they are automatically
locked;
 Open the covers C and B of the gear-roll protector and lock the front cover B in its
maximally open position
