3.6.5 Saline/Placard Hooks
Inspection
Saline/Placard Hook
1. Verify the Saline/Placard hooks are securely attached to each side of the console.
a. If they are not, follow the repair steps for tightening the hooks.

1. Apply a small drop of Loctite 222 to end of screw threads.
2. Insert screw back through hook and body panels
3. Reach hand into console with a ¼” wrench and locate screw.
4. Secure nut in wrench opening with finger.
5. Tighten screw to 8 in/lbs while holding nut with ¼” wrench.
3.6.6 Fans
Inspection
1. Apply power to the console and check to ensure both fans are rotating.
a. Verify bottom fan blows air into the console
b. Verify top fan blows air out of the console
2. If a fan is not rotating, then examine the wire connections.
3. If a fan is not rotating and the wire connections are correct, request assistance to
measure the voltage the fan is receiving.
4. If the voltage supplied to a non-working fan is sufficient, replace the fan.
a. Ensure the air flow direction is correct (as stated above).
