Connection of the machine
3.1
Electrical connection
In general any work on the electrical system such as fitting of
a plug and changing of connections, if necessary, must be
carried out by a qualified electrician in line with relevant
national standards and the regulations of the local power
station.
The standard tyre changers are supplied for connection to line
voltage of 3/PE AC 380 – 415 V, 50 Hz. Subsequent modifica-
tions for operation on 3/PE AC 220 – 240 V, 50 Hz are readily
accomplished. Upon request, machines for other line voltages
are available.
The power cord already fitted on the machine is provided with a
plug for 3-ph AC such as generally used in your country.
Fusing is at customer’s charge before the plug connectors,
using fusible cut-outs of 10 A slow-blow type or automatic cut-
outs of slow-blow type.
After connection the chuck has to rotate clockwise when the
pedal
(Fig. 6, Item 1)
is depressed.
The electrical diagram of the machine is provided at the inside
of the removable lateral panel of the machine housing.
The electrical diagrams illustrated in this manual under § 14.
show the conditions available with standard machines. If ma-
chines are supplied with additional electric equipment, always
refer to the electrical diagram enclosed with the machine.

Recommended air pressure is 8 bars minimum.
Working pressure of monty 3300 is between 8 and 15 bars.
An integrated pressure reducer is factory-adjusted to a working
pressure of 10 bars and must not be readjusted.
