Installation of the machine
2.1
Installation
The tyre changer can be installed on any concreted floor or on
any floor covered with a similarly hard floor covering.
It is recommended to secure the machine to the ground at the
four points provided with anchor bolts M10, or with appropriate
dowels. Apart from the property of the floor, the Health and
Safety at Work regulations as well as all other national regula-
tions on the working environment must be taken into account
when choosing site.
For installation on a higher floor check rated load of that floor. In
general we recommend to consult a construction expert before
any installation on a higher floor.
Machine dimensions are given in Fig. 1 and in § 12. Technical
data.
2.2
Fitting the machine post
The machine post is supplied detached from the machine and
has to be fitted thereto on site.
For mounting refer to Fig. 2A and 2B and the steps as described
below.

Untighten the fastening screws of the lateral panel and
remove the latter.
Grease bearings and through shaft before fitting the ma-
chine post.
Route the pneumatic hoses (Fig. 2A, Item 10) through
the round hole behind the square opening in the cabinet
for the cylinder, down towards the foot valve of the chuck
(Fig. 2A, Item 11) and to the quick inflation valve (not on
monty 3300; see Fig. 2A, Item 11). Connect the hoses in
succession.
