⚫
SVALM (Servo alarm)
A signal to give a warning that the servo driver has entered into an uncontrollable state due to
overload etc.
Operation is disabled while this signal is output from the servo driver.
⚫
INPOS (In-position, positioning completion, COIN)
A signal to inform that the servo motor reached the specified position. This signal is output from the
servo driver when the error counter in the servo driver is within the in-position width set in the servo
driver.
⚫
SVRDY (Servo ready)
In general, this signal is output from the servo driver when the servo driver main power supply is ON
and the servo alarm is not turned ON.
⚫
Encoder FB (Encoder feedback)
A FB signal returned from the encoder. The motion controller counts the phase difference signals
from A-phase and B-phase to confirm the current position. Also, the Z-phase (C-phase) signal is a
signal output for every encoder rotation, and is used as the base position for homing etc.
In general, A-phase, B-phase, and Z-phase are all input to the motion controller via the motor driver.
➢
With CW rotation
B-phase is always "Low" when A-phase is rising.
A-phase
B-phase
➢
With CCW rotation
B-phase is always "High" when A-phase is rising.
