CIGAR LIGHTER
Operation
IMPORTANT: In case cigar lighter (2) does not pop out
automatically 30 seconds after pushing
cigar lighter (2) in, pull out cigar lighter (2)
manually. Then, consult the your nearest
Hitachi dealer.
1. Turn key switch (1) to the ACC or ON position.
2. Press and release cigar lighter (2) knob.
3. Cigar lighter (2) knob will return to the original position
when cigar lighter (2) becomes usable. Pull cigar lighter
(2) out to use.
4. After using cigar lighter (2), insert cigar lighter (2) into the
panel until the knob is seated in the original position.
Using Cigar Lighter (2) Port as External Power Source
Use cigar lighter (2) port to supply power to lighting
equipment for servicing the machine.
IMPORTANT: Only 24 V electric power is available from
the cigar lighter port on this machine.
Never connect accessories that use power
other than 24 V. Damage to the batteries
and accessories may result.
Do not supply power to accessories for
a long time without running the engine.
Failure to do so may discharge the
batteries.
1. Pull cigar lighter (2) knob out.
2. Correctly insert the accessory socket into cigar lighter (2)
port.
3. Turn key switch (1) to the ACC or ON position. Power is
supplied to the connected accessory.
4. After using the accessory, disconnect the accessory
socket and insert cigar lighter (2) into the port.
