Drain Hydraulic Oil Tank Sump
--- every 250 hours

WARNING: Hydraulic oil may be hot and pressurized

just after operation. Severe burns may result if skin

comes in contact with escaping hydraulic oil. Wait for

oil to cool before starting work.

1. Park the machine following the same procedures as

described on page 7-7 for preparation for inspection and

maintenance.

2. After leaving the machine without operating to cool the

oil temperature, bleed air pressure from the hydraulic oil

tank.

3. Slowly loosen drain plug (1) on the bottom of the

hydraulic oil tank to drain water and sediment.
