(1) This lamp, when lights, indicates sound work of the computer
built in the spectrophotometer main unit. When the working
order of the instrument is sound, the lamp begins to light
several seconds after turning on the power switch, and
continues to light until the power switch is turned off. The
lamp being not-lighting or flickering represents something
being wrong with the computer. Turn off the power switch
once and on again. If such unstable lighting state repeats or
still continues, take action for remedy according to the
instructions described in “4.4 Trouble Shooting”
(2) In Model U-2910, this knob does not function; the instrument is
not provided with an LCD.
